Feel the Magic Nintendo DS
Sega’s FEEL THE MAGIC: XY/XX for the Nintendo DS tells a story of love through a series of mini-games that make the most of the DSƒ?Ts touch screen and microphone. The control pad and buttons, in fact, are ignored completely in favor of the unique controls of the DS. Players take on the role of a shy boy who quickly falls in love with a girl he sees on the streets. Determined to win her heart, he joins The Rub Rabbits, a performance group, and sets off to dazzle her with his feats while outdoing his rival. Impressing the lady love and others comes by winning mini-games. These games come in many shapes and sizes. In one, players have to guide people away from a hungry ant lion; in another, the goal is to spray paint a wall; in another, players actually go inside a person to lead goldfish out of his stomach. The mini-games are all delightfully odd while still being incredibly addictive. There are several different modes in addition to single-player mode. Memories collects the mini-games players have completed so they can practice or try to break their high scores. Maniac mode allows players to dress up some of the female characters in the game, although some items can only be found by locating the hidden bunnies in single-player mode or by generating an item from a GBA cartridge. FEEL THE MAGIC: XY/XX is an innovative game that will have players using the DS to its full capability.
